By joining forces the two leading companies aim to provide Complete Software Systems for the generation of NDVI and additional vegtation analysies with modified Sony E-Mount cameras and the Agrowing Technology.

Agricultural remote sensing requires accurate NDVI analysis. Narrow spectral bands camera is a must for NDVI. Agrowing have upgraded the Sony Alpha E-Mount camera to answer this need.
The project implies the use of a modified Sony QX1 on Drones to provide NDVI and additional analysies for immediate, high quality results. Cultivation development phases change at a fast-growing pace and can only be faced by providing the right technology to attain the needed information in the shortest time spam possible. Thus the creation of a complete integrated solution which includes a Drone + the Multi-spectral camera. With an amazingly low 335gr. weight, the camera is by far the state-of-the-art Multi-Spectral Aerial camera. It is optimized for Agricultural remote sensing. Spectral bands can be customized according to customer’s needs.
High Resolution NDVI and Accurate Alignment.
Agrowing has devised an effective way of showing the advantage of the camera’s digital calibration. In the samples below two lenses are used. Lens 1 captures narrow RGB channels while Lens 2 captures narrow Green and NIR channels. The RGB bands are perfectly aligned as they are captured through a single lens while aligning the second lens NIR channel with the RGN channel, based on the common green channel, provides perfect 4 channels alignment.
High resolution NDVI can be calculated by integrating the Agrowing camera with any analyzing system and/or software.
