Can I modify the Revit model after the exportation?

You can easily scale, move and rotate the model just by clicking on it and selecting the function you wish.

You can also hide every single part of the model by clicking on “browse additional tools” icon in the top left area and selecting the “hide objects” tool.

And you can assign materials to every single part of the model with the “Material” tool in the “Edit” menu.

How to add Revit Models into OneRay Libraries

Once the model has been exported you can add it to your libraries by clicking on the model and selecting the properties icon.

In the properties window just click on Add to My Library and choose the destination folder.

 

How to install/uninstall OneRay-RT for Revit

The installer you downloaded from Autodesk App store has already installed the plug-in. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate it.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if it is currently running, uninstall it from the ‘Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features’ (Windows 7/8/8.1) or Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.

How to use OneRay-RT for Revit

General usage instructions:

1. Launch Revit and choose a model

2. Go to the OneRay-RT ribbon, then click on OneRay-RV

3. In the window that appears select the views you wish to export and click on Export

4. Now you can display and animate the model in OneRay-RT
