Aspherical photos
The Matterport Pro2 and Pro3 cameras capture high-resolution spherical photos. The space control panel (Dashboard) provides a very interesting tool to extract high-resolution aspherical photos. Thanks to this tool it is possible to obtain photos that can be corrected to obtain rectangular photos that are very easy to process to obtain drawings of high quality and great accuracy.
The tool used for this processing is Analist-Photo, a plugin from the Analist collection. The workflow involves identifying a rectangle on the photo whose width and height are known.Measurements can be acquired with laser meters, extracting distances from Matterport space, the Matterpack point cloud or the high-resolution Matterport cloud e57.
